I. System Structure

Piling desanding plant mainly consists of small shale shaker and desander. With compact design, it occupies minimal space, reduces costs, and enables easy operation, movement, and transportation. The sand outlet of the pipeline is sealed to effectively prevent slurry splashing and environmental pollution on-site. It boasts high sand recovery efficiency and excellent dewatering performance, ensuring eco-friendly transportation of slurry waste and compliant discharge of treated slurry.

II. Working Principle

The integrated pile-driving desanding unit achieves graded purification and recycling of drilling mud through centrifugal separation and screening filtration.

  1. Slurry generated from drilling or piling first enters the mud logging tank, overflows into the bottom screen of shale shaker, and filters out large solid particles for primary purification.

  2. The primarily purified slurry flows into the sedimentation tank for temporary storage. Sand pump extracts and pressurizes the slurry, which is then delivered to the cyclone inlet manifold via pipelines.

  3. Pressurized slurry enters the cyclone for high-speed rotation, and settles downward along the cyclone wall under centrifugal force and gravity. Due to the density difference between liquid and solid phases, solid impurities are thrown to the wall, discharged through the bottom nozzle of the cyclone, and fall onto the upper screen of shale shaker for secondary screening to further separate fine-grained impurities.

  4. The screened slurry flows back to the sedimentation tank for cyclic treatment, while the purified slurry from the cyclone overflows through the top pipe for recycling.

III. Application Fields

The slurry separator is widely applicable to construction projects adopting slurry wall protection and cyclic drilling, including pile foundation, diaphragm wall, slurry shield, slurry pipe jacking, and trenchless engineering. It is also suitable for slurry treatment in TBM, horizontal directional drilling, oilfield drilling, river dredging, and sludge wastewater treatment scenarios, fully covering slurry purification and recycling needs across multiple fields.
