Ash tanks, also known as vertical drilling ash tanks, vertical ash storage tanks, bentonite storage tanks, barite powder storage tanks, bulk material ash conveying systems, and cementing ash conveying systems, are widely used at oilfield drilling sites, drilling exploration projects, and drilling mud stations. They are primarily used to store cement, bentonite, and barite powder for cementing. They can also be used to store other bulk powders and granular materials with a bulk density less than 1.7 tons/m³ and a particle size less than 0.5mm. They are fixed to the construction site and can be used to store and convey bulk cement or barite powder.
The lower ash tank is a pneumatic conveying device. Using a fluidizing device, compressed air is forced through the gasification bed, gradually fluidizing the ash in the storage tank. The fluidized ash enters the tank through the ash inlet and then exits through the ash outlet. The amount of ash discharged is controlled by operating a butterfly valve. The ash outlet is typically equipped with an air-assisted sweeping device to prevent blockage. Furthermore, the ash can be discharged from the storage tank using the pressure differential between the inside and outside of the tank. The ash output weight can also be controlled using the tank's built-in weighing scale.
The ash tank is generally composed of an ash inlet pipe, exhaust pipe, base, gasification system, ash outlet pipe, pressure gauge, safety valve, and traction lugs.

1. Fast ash discharge: Ash material can be transported in a short time, improving work efficiency.
2. Adjustable ash volume: By operating devices such as butterfly valves, the ash output can be flexibly controlled according to actual needs.
3. No residual ash: Some ash discharge tanks feature a conical bottom design to ensure that no residual ash is left during operation.
4. Structural and Design Advantages: These feature a simple structure, rational design, and easy and quick installation and operation, ensuring precise dosage and high efficiency. They also improve drilling fluid quality, reduce the use of additives, significantly reduce worker workload, and contribute to environmentally friendly on-site operations.
5. Excellent Sealing: These effectively prevent material leakage, ensuring safe and environmentally friendly storage and transportation.
6. Excellent Material Selection and Craftsmanship: Some ash tanks are made of high-quality materials and utilize advanced production processes, such as robotic welding and advanced sandblasting, to provide corrosion and rust resistance, reliable quality, and user-friendly design for increased safety.
