Description

The TR Movable Mud Hopper is a portable jet hopper for drilling fluid mixing and dry additive feeding. The integrated support frame allows the hopper to be lifted and moved as one unit.

A supply pump sends drilling fluid through the hopper for jet mixing. The unit integrates with existing mud circulation equipment.

Working Principle

An external supply pump sends drilling fluid through the jet nozzle. The high-velocity flow creates suction, drawing the dry additive into the fluid stream.

As the additive passes through the mixing section, it disperses into the drilling fluid. The mixed fluid then flows to the mud tank or downstream circulation piping.

Oil and gas drilling
The hopper adds bentonite, barite, and other drilling fluid additives at the rig site.
HDD projects
Used at trenchless drilling sites where the mixing point or equipment position changes between work areas.
Bored piling and construction slurry
It is used for bentonite slurry preparation and other drilling fluid mixing at piling and construction sites.
