FLC500 PMD Shaker Screen

The FLC500 PMD Shaker Screen is a replacement screen for Derrick FLC503 shale shakers. Each screen uses PMD (pyramid) construction with 2–3 layers of stainless steel wire cloth bonded to a rigid hooked edge frame. Different mesh densities are layered in sequence to maximize effective screening area while maintaining structural strength under operating loads. Backing plate opening size is matched to each mesh count to get the largest open area without compromising screen integrity.

Oilfield shaker screens fall into four main categories: framed screens (corrugated and flat), rigid hooked edge screens (corrugated and flat), flexible hooked edge screens, and slot screens. The FLC500 PMD is a rigid hooked edge type.
