TR Bored Pile Mud Recycling System recovers and reuses drilling mud returned from bored pile operations. The mud passes through solids removal before entering the mud tank, where it can be stored, mixed and prepared for reuse.
The system combines a piling desander unit, mud tank, jet mud mixing unit and mud agitation to keep the recovered mud in circulation throughout the piling operation.
Keeps recovered mud in circulation. Treated piling mud returns to the drilling operation, reducing the need for frequent mud replacement.
Simplifies on-site mud handling. Solids removal, storage and mixing are handled within one connected system.
Makes mud adjustment practical. The jet mixing unit allows bentonite and other mixing materials to be added to the mud when needed.
Reduces slurry removal. Reusing recovered mud means less slurry has to be removed and replaced during piling work.
Works well on restricted sites. The equipment can be arranged around the available working area, tank position and mud circulation connections.

Returned piling mud first passes through the solids removal stage before entering the mud tank.
From the tank, mud can be circulated through the jet mixing unit when mixing or mud adjustment is needed. Mud agitation keeps the tank contents moving during storage and circulation.
The recovered mud then returns to the piling operation for reuse.
Bored pile construction
Foundation piling
Urban piling projects
Large-diameter bored piles
Slurry-supported excavation
The system can also be adapted for diaphragm wall and shield tunneling applications.

Start with the mud return flow from the piling operation to determine the required system capacity.
The required mud volume also affects tank sizing, especially when the system needs to handle continuous circulation and temporary storage.
For urban or restricted sites, consider the available footprint, equipment connections and tank location when planning the overall layout.
TR Solids Control manufactures the main equipment used in bored pile mud recycling systems and supplies both individual units and complete system packages.
TR handles equipment fabrication, assembly and system integration in-house. The final system is configured around the required capacity, mud circulation and site layout before shipment.
