Steel-Wood Rig Mat

TRGM series steel-wood foundations (also known as rig mats) are a new type of drilling foundation developed by TR according to well site requirements. The steel-wood foundation replaces traditional concrete foundations, helping reduce drilling costs, save land use, and improve on-site management efficiency.

A Steel-Wood Foundation is constructed with a combination of steel beams and treated timber, forming a strong modular base that supports drilling rigs, mud systems, tanks, and other heavy equipment on unstable or soft ground.

Rig Mats application range:

Suitable for drilling rigs such as ZJ20, ZJ30, ZJ40, ZJ50, and ZJ70, with drilling depths from 1,000 to 7,000 meters. It is used in various terrains, including plains, plateaus, deserts, hills, beaches, and swamps.
Steel-wood rig mats are available in different sizes and load capacities depending on drilling rig requirements.

Common configurations use heavy steel beams combined with treated hardwood blocks designed for long service life and resistance to moisture and wear.
