TR Linear Motion Shale Shaker is drilling mud solids control equipment designed for primary separation of drilled cuttings from returned drilling fluids in oilfield drilling operations.

As primary solids control equipment, the shaker removes drilled cuttings and larger solid particles from drilling fluids while recovering reusable mud for the circulation system.

The shaker uses dual vibration motors to generate linear movement of the screen basket. Drilled cuttings move toward the discharge end, while drilling fluid passes through the screen and returns to the mud system.

Working Principle of Linear Motion Shale Shaker

The linear motion shale shaker separates drilled cuttings and solid particles from drilling fluid by using linear vibration and screen filtration. Dual synchronized vibration motors generate straight-line motion of the screen basket, moving drilled cuttings toward the discharge end while allowing drilling fluid to pass through the shaker screen.

The drilling fluid containing cuttings enters the feed inlet and is evenly distributed across the screen deck. As the screen basket vibrates, larger solid particles move forward and are discharged, while liquid-phase drilling fluid passes through the screen mesh and flows back to the mud tank for reuse.
