TR Piling Desander Unit removes drilled solids and sand from bentonite slurry used in slurry-supported foundation construction. It combines a double-deck linear motion shaker, collection tank, feed pump, and hydrocyclone desanding modules in one integrated treatment system.
The system provides continuous treatment of circulating slurry during foundation construction. The shale shaker removes larger drilled solids first, while the hydrocyclones separate finer sand from the screened slurry. Treated bentonite slurry can then return to the circulation system for reuse.
Two-Stage Solids Separation
The double-deck shaker removes larger drilled solids before the hydrocyclones separate finer sand from the slurry.
Wear-Resistant Design
Screen panels and hydrocyclone wear parts handle abrasive, sand-laden slurry.
Compact Integrated Design
The integrated layout simplifies site arrangement and reduces the equipment footprint.
Slurry Recycling
Treated bentonite slurry returns to circulation for reuse, reducing fresh bentonite consumption and slurry disposal.

Bentonite slurry first enters the double-deck linear motion shaker. The screens remove larger drilled solids, and the screened slurry flows into the collection tank below.
A feed pump sends the collected slurry to the hydrocyclone desanding modules. Connecting pipes divide the flow between the modules, with each module equipped with its own hydrocyclone for sand separation.
Inside the hydrocyclones, centrifugal force separates heavier sand from the slurry. Sand-rich underflow leaves the hydrocyclones, while the cleaner overflow returns to the slurry circulation system for reuse.

The Piling Desander Unit treats bentonite slurry in foundation and underground construction, including:
Bored piling: Removes drilled solids and sand from circulating bentonite slurry during bored pile installation.
Diaphragm wall construction: Controls sand content in slurry used for trench excavation.
It can also serve pipe jacking and slurry shield tunneling projects that require similar slurry separation and recycling.

Flow and sand loading: TR uses these operating conditions to determine the required treatment capacity and desanding configuration.
Required separation performance: The target separation performance determines the screening and hydrocyclone arrangement.
Soil and slurry conditions: Particle size, sand content, and slurry properties affect the separation setup.
Site conditions: Available space, power supply, transport, and lifting requirements determine the practical equipment layout.
Each unit is assembled, wired, and no-load tested at TR's Xi'an facility before shipment. Test reports and a copy of the Ex certificate are supplied with the unit.
Spare wear parts for hydrocyclones, pumps, and screen panels are kept in stock, with on-site commissioning available on request.
