Functions of Wear-Resistant Shaft Sleeve

1. Protects the main shaft: Prevents shaft journal from direct friction, corrosion and erosion caused by mechanical seals/packing. Only the shaft sleeve needs replacement when damaged, avoiding costly shaft repair.

2. Positioning & sealing fit: Provides an accurate mounting surface for mechanical seals and controls axial positioning. Some designs are equipped with seal grooves or coatings for enhanced sealing performance.

3. Wear resistance & friction reduction: Adapts to highly abrasive working conditions such as drilling fluid and slurry, reducing frictional heat and energy consumption during operation.

Application & Maintenance

Mainly used in oilfield mixing pumps, drilling fluid sand pumps and mining slurry pumps, commonly applied in oil & gas drilling, fracturing and mine tailings transportation.
