The TR Dual Motion Shale Shaker combines linear and balanced elliptical motion in a single unit. Operators can switch between the two modes during operation to suit changing drilling conditions, mud properties, and solids loading.
Linear motion delivers rapid solids conveyance and cuttings discharge. Balanced elliptical motion keeps solids on the screen longer, making it suitable for sticky or high-viscosity drilling fluids.

Drilling fluid enters the feed hopper and spreads across the screen deck. The vibration motors generate the selected vibration pattern, moving cuttings toward the discharge end while liquid and fine solids pass through the mesh.
Separated cuttings are discharged from the shaker, while the recovered drilling fluid flows to the next stage of the solids control system.

The shaker can also be used as the underflow screen for a mud cleaner, desander, or desilter. Tandem and triple shaker configurations are available for higher-flow systems.

Selection starts with the required flow rate and screen area. Mud viscosity, density, solids loading, and formation conditions also influence the choice of vibration mode.
For 110 m³/h: TRPZS583 has three 585 × 1165 mm screen panels and 2.0 m² of total screen area.
For 140 m³/h: TRPZS584 has four 585 × 1165 mm screen panels and 2.7 m² of total screen area.
Screen selection depends on the required separation size and drilling fluid properties. Confirm deck angle, G-force range, explosion protection requirements, power supply, and installation footprint before ordering.
For higher flow rates, tandem or triple shaker banks with interconnecting manifolds are available.
TR manufactures Dual-Motion Shale Shakers at its Xi'an production facility. The equipment can be supplied to meet applicable API and ISO requirements specified for the project.
Screen layout, electrical standards, flow capacity, and installation footprint can be configured to match the drilling fluid solids control system.
