A Double-Deck Shale Shaker uses two screen decks arranged vertically in one shaker. The upper deck handles coarse drilled solids, while the lower deck provides secondary fine screening. Different mesh screens can be fitted to the two decks to match the required separation performance.
The dual-deck layout adds a second screening stage without requiring another shaker position. With 6.4 m² of effective filtration area and a rated capacity of up to 180 m³/h, the design is suited to drilling sites where mud flow rates are high but available solids control space is limited.

Drilling fluid feeds onto the upper screen deck and spreads across the screen surface. Translational elliptical motion moves drill cuttings toward the discharge end, while drilling fluid and undersize solids pass through the screen mesh.
The screened fluid then moves to the lower deck for secondary fine screening. A finer mesh can be fitted on the lower deck to remove additional solids. With larger cuttings removed on the upper deck, the lower screen receives a lower coarse-solids load and can focus on finer separation.
Treated drilling fluid exits the shaker and moves to the next stage of solids control.

Explosion-Proof Motor Configuration
The shaker uses two 3.2 kW vibration motors for continuous operation. Ex d IIB T4-rated motors are available, with IECEx or ATEX-certified configurations supplied according to project requirements.
