Bearing Seat

  • Bearing seat for centrifugal mud pumps, durable cast structure, interchange with Mission pump parts, stable performance for oilfield solids control systems.
  • Description

The bearing housing is core load-bearing component of the power end in oilfield mud/sand pumps. It supports the pump shaft, seat the bearings, and provides lubrication and sealing protection for drilling operations involving sand, high abrasiveness, and medium-to-high pressures.

TR's bearing seat is direct interchange for NOV Mission MAGNUM CENTRIFUGAL (P/N 20624-01-01) and 2500 SUPREME (P/N H20624-01-01) sand pumps, with identical mounting dimensions and materials to OEM standard.

Core Structural Functions

  1. Bearing Cavity: Provides coaxial mounting positions for two bearing sets, ensuring shaft assembly rigidity;

  2. Lube Ports and Oil galleries: Grease/oil circulation and heat dissipation;

  3. End Caps and Seals: Prevent mud/dust ingress, containing the lubricant;

  4. Pilot fits & locating spigots: accurate alignment with pump frame and support;

  5. Temperature and vibration ports: Facilitate operational condition monitoring.

Working Principle

The bearing outer races are secured in the housing bores by interference fit and locating spigots. The inner races rotate with the pump shaft at speed. A preload spring and locknut apply the correct axial preload to manage radial and thrust loads. The lubrication system maintains a continuous oil film across the rolling elements and raceways, reducing friction and carrying away heat. Seals at both ends block abrasive media from reaching the bearings, preventing premature wear and failure.

Operating Conditions

Applications: Oil drilling fluid circulation (desanding, desilting, mud mixing) and mine slurry transport.

Operating range: Temperature -20°C to 120°C, Speed 1750 RPM, with medium-to-high pressure and high load conditions.

Advantages Of Mud Pump Spare Parts Housing

  1. High rigidity and deformation resistance ensure coaxiality during long-term operation.

  2. Seal and lubrication design resists abrasion and contamination.

  3. Modular design, fast overall assembly/disassembly for maintenance.

  4. OEM-matched dimensions minimize installation error across shaft, bearings, and pump casing interfaces.
