Recently, we shipped a complete HDD mud recycling system from our factory in Xi'an to a directional drilling contractor in Israel. This is our first delivery to Israel, following previous shipments to Romania, the UAE, Nigeria, Indonesia, India, and Argentina. All solids control equipment is built to API and ISO standards.

The customer's site runs 230/400V at 50Hz, so the electrical system and control panel were configured to match. All electrical equipment carries ExdIIBt4 explosion-proof certification. The tank was painted white, the rest of the equipment blue.
One requirement stood out: no loose parts for field self-assembly. Everything had to be installed, wired, tested, and inspected at the factory before shipping.
The HDD mud recycling system is built around a 6000 x 2000 x 1800 mm mud tank, with all equipment arranged in a single compact layout.
Primary separation is handled by a TRZS584 linear motion shale shaker with 136 m³/h capacity and Mongoose-compatible screens. A TRQJ200x2S-100x8N desander/desilter cleaner follows, combining two 8-inch and eight 4-inch hydrocyclones with a total capacity of 120 m³/h. The underflow screen is also a TRZS583, allowing the same screen type to be used on both units.

Two TRSB5x4-12J centrifugal pumps (112 m³/h, 30kW each) feed the cyclone manifold in a one-running, one-standby setup with parallel piping. A TRJBQ7.5 agitator (7.5 kW, 75 r/min) keeps solids suspended in the tank. The TRZJDK control panel and two TRZM explosion-proof light fixtures complete the electrical package. Guardrails, ladders, and manifold fittings were included as part of the package.

This is where the project spent most of its time. We started by welding the tank body and surface-treating it for paint. Once painting was completed, the equipment was installed and connected on the tank.
The shaker went on the tank deck first. Then the cleaner was piped in between the shaker discharge and the pump manifold. Both centrifugal pumps were bolted to the skid and connected to the cyclone feed line. The agitator was mounted through the tank top. The electrical control panel was wired to every motor and fixture, then powered up for a live test. Guardrails and ladders went on last.
Inspection day covered interface checks between all equipment, piping layout confirmation, electrical live-test, and no-load trial runs of the shaker and cleaner. The customer wanted to see it run before sign-off, and they did.
After approval, we started disassembly. Every bolt, pipe joint, and cable connection got a reference number. The site crew will use the reference numbers to reassemble the system. Standard equipment ships as bare-loaded units. Spare parts go in export wooden cases.
The shipment included shaker springs, seal frames, and screens; pump bearings, seals, and wear sleeves; replacement hydrocyclone cones; plus tri-clamp couplings, expansion joints, and butterfly valves.
