Shale Shaker and Desander Shipped to Sichuan Oilfield Project

A certain oilfield in Sichuan is one of our long-term cooperative clients. TR Solids Control has supplied a large number of drilling-related oilfield solid control equipment and solids control systems for the projects in Sichuan for many years. Recently, in response to the operational needs of the Sichuan oilfield project, TR Solids Control supplied 4 shale shakers, 1 desander, and 1 desilter for efficient operation of the solid control system. This equipment ensures the continuity and stability of drilling operations, providing robust support for the smooth progress of the project.

It is well known that the geological conditions in the Sichuan region are complex, with diverse rock layer structures, which places extremely high demands on the processing capacity, screening efficiency, and adaptability of solid control equipment.  This time, TR Solids Control has specifically optimized its equipment parameters, supplying solid control equipment that boasts high processing capacity and screening efficiency, meeting the client's needs for rock formation screening and adapting to the complex geological operating conditions of the Sichuan oilfield.

The mud shale shaker adopts linear motion design, offering high processing capacity and efficiency. The powerful excitation force generated by the linear shale shaker quickly removes a large amount of solid phase through an efficient linear vibration trajectory, effectively removing larger particles from the drilling fluid and laying the foundation for subsequent solids control processes.

The desander is mainly used to remove larger particles from drilling fluid.  After being processed by the shale shaker, the drilling fluid enters the desander, which separates sand particles with size range of 44μm-74μm. This quickly completes the desanding process, further purifying the drilling fluid and preventing sand particles from causing wear and tear on subsequent equipment.

Desilters, focus on fine purification and can effectively remove solid particles with diameter of 20-65 micrometers from drilling fluid.  They work in conjunction with shale shakers and desanders to create synergistic system for graded purification and multi-stage filtration of drilling fluid.

The shale shaker, desander, and desilter work together to classify and purify the drilling fluid. After the drilling fluid solid particles are processed by the shale shaker, the drilling fluid is then separated by desanding cyclone or desilting cyclone. The overflow returns to the circulation system, and the underflow is further screened and processed, forming solid-phase separation process that ensures the smooth progress of drilling operations.
