Diversion: The drilling mud or slurry first enters a distribution manifold, where it is evenly split into multiple streams (usually matching the number of screen decks).
Feeding: The diverted slurry is evenly and thinly spread on the feed end of each screen surface through the feeder.
Screening: Under high-frequency and small-amplitude vibration, the materials on the screen surface are thrown up and move forward. Fine particles quickly sink to the bottom of the material layer and pass through the shaker screens to become undersize products; coarse particles are discharged from the end of the screen surface to become oversize products.
A. Stack Sizer® (Stacked High-Frequency Fine Screen) - Mainly Used in Mining/Metallurgy
Multi-layer Independent Screen Surfaces: A single equipment is vertically stacked with 5 layers of independent polyurethane screen plates.
Independent Tensioning and Buffering: Each layer of shaker screen is independently tensioned, and there are rubber buffer blocks between layers.
Principle: When the exciting force is transmitted, each layer of shaker screen can independently generate high-frequency vibration. This design eliminates inter-layer interference, making the total effective screening area of the 5-layer screen surface 5 times the equipment footprint.
Material Flow Direction: The feed enters from the top and is evenly distributed to each layer. Fine particles fall through the shaker screens, and coarse particles are discharged from the end of each layer.
Application: It is mainly used for classification in grinding circuits (such as iron concentrate and copper ore), which can effectively remove over-crushed fine mud and improve the efficiency of ball mills.
B. FLC / Hyperpool Series (Flat Plate Shale Shaker) - Mainly Used in Oil Drilling/Solids Control
Flat Screen Design: Adopts a full flat or slightly inclined screen box design, with extremely high utilization rate of effective screening area (up to more than 90%).
Pre-tensioned Screens: The shaker screens are pre-tensioned on the metal frame before leaving the factory (similar to a drum head).
Principle: Pre-tensioning ensures that the shaker screens will not loosen under high-frequency vibration, maintains the stability of the screen hole shape, prevents "screen clogging", and provides a more accurate cut point.
Deflector System: A special mud deflector is designed inside, which uses fluid dynamics principles to make the mud quickly cover the entire screen surface and avoid short circuits (i.e., the mud flows out directly without filtration).
