TR Piling Desanding Plant and Shale Shaker Sent To India

Recently, the desanding and desilting machine, shale shaker and supporting accessories designed and produced by TR Solid Control were successfully sent to India. The batch equipment will be used in mud treatment project of local pile RIGS, empowering project with its efficient and environmentally friendly performance.

This compact desanding plant is customized mud recycling solution specifically designed for piling projects.  It has advantages of low cost, high efficiency, simple operation, and easy mobility and transportation.  It is not only suitable for pile driving projects, but also widely applied in the mud treatment of TBM and horizontal directional drilling projects, achieving multiple uses with one machine. It provides an efficient and economical choice for mud purification in different engineering scenarios.

As one of the key pieces of equipment in mud treatment, shale shaker is driven by two vibrating motors.  Its structure consists of screen box, exciter, vibrator, screen frame, machine frame, damping springs, shaker screen, and electric motor. When drilling fluid flows through shale shaker screen, the high excitation force generates vibrations that subject the particles on the screen to strong impact forces, significantly increasing the friction between the particles, thus quickly achieving solid-liquid separation.

During the piling process, the large amount of mud containing significant amount of water and solid particles is generated. Shale shakers play key role in piling projects and wastewater treatment, effectively dewatering and recycling the solid particles. Shale shakers are also widely used in mud purification treatment for oil drilling, trenchless horizontal directional crossing, coalbed methane drilling, shale gas drilling, and environmental protection of river silt.

The desanding and desilting integrated machine(Mud Cleaner) is another core equipment in mud treatment system.  It mainly consists of desanding hydrocyclone, desilting hydrocyclone, underflow shale shaker, frame, inlet and outlet elbow pipe.  Mud Cleaner utilizes hydrocyclones for initial centrifugal separation, effectively removing sand and mud particles of different sizes.  Combined with the fine screening of shale shaker, it achieves multi-stage, high-efficiency separation of solid particles in drilling fluid, precisely removing solid particles ranging from 15μm to 75μm, providing strong support for the high-quality purification of drilling fluid.

In drilling solid control system, the shale shaker and desander/desilter machine work together in coordinated manner. As primary solid control device, shale shaker first conducts preliminary screening of the drilling fluid, effectively removing larger solid particles within it. The desander/desilter unit, as secondary or tertiary solid control device, further separates the smaller sand and mud particles in drilling fluid. The two closely cooperate to jointly enhance the purification effect of drilling fluid and ensure continuous drilling operations.
