10 Centrifugal Pumps Shipped to Argentina Oilfield Project

TR Solids Control has shipped 10 centrifugal pumps to an oilfield project in Argentina. The order pairs five 75 kW units with five 45 kW units, all built to the customer's electrical specification. Each pump shipped with its control cabinet, ATEX explosion-proof configuration and English nameplates, and the whole order left in export wooden cases.

Two Pump Sizes, One Equipment Package

The order breaks down into two models:

• 5 × TRSB8×6 13J, 75 kW

• 5 × TRSB8×6 12J, 45 kW

The two are 8x6x13 and 8x6x12 centrifugal pumps, the sizes that normally carry desander and desilter feed duty and move drilling mud between tanks. Two ratings in one order let the customer match a pump to each job in the package rather than run one size everywhere.

The TRSB series shares mounting dimensions and power-end parts with the Mission 2500 range, so a replacement unit can be matched to an existing pump from its model number, impeller size and base dimensions.

The pumps were supplied as complete units, ready for the electrical setup the customer specified.

ATEX Pumps Built for a 380 V, 50 Hz Supply

Argentina runs on 380 V at 50 Hz, so the electrical side of the order was settled by the destination. Each unit is an ATEX centrifugal pump, with an explosion-proof motor rated Ex d IIB T4 and a control cabinet built for that supply. English nameplates came with the order as well, which keeps identification simple once the pumps are on site and in service.

The customer also chose the finish. Wall panels are RAL 2005 and pump bodies RAL 7021.

Centrifugal Pump Spare Parts with the Order

The Argentina order includes centrifugal pump spare parts matched to the supplied pumps. The list covers the wear parts that come up first in service (impellers, wear plates, mechanical seals) alongside casings, bearings, couplings and gaskets.

The customer holds the parts most likely to be replaced from day one, rather than placing a separate order when a pump comes due for service.

Export Packing and Delivery to Argentina

All 10 pumps, the control cabinets and the spare parts were packed in export wooden cases for transport from China to Argentina.
