Mud shale shaker (drilling fluid shale shaker) is the primary purification equipment in oil & gas drilling mud solid control systems. It separates drilled cuttings and solid particles above 74μm from bottomhole returning drilling fluid, enabling mud recycling and environmentally friendly discharge.
It is widely used in onshore/offshore oil drilling, shale gas/coalbed methane development, trenchless directional crossing, shield engineering, river dredging and other mud treatment scenarios.

Driven by vibration motors or eccentric shafts, the shaker generates high-frequency vibration through a vibrator, forming specific trajectories (linear, elliptical or dual-trajectory) on the screen surface.
TR Solids Control shale shakers are classified by motion type:
Linear Shale Shaker: Suitable for general drilling conditions with stable processing capacity.
Elliptical Shale Shaker: Combines horizontal and vertical vibration for better performance in viscous mud.
Dual-Motion Shale Shaker: Flexible mode switching for various working conditions.
Powered by explosion-proof vibration motors/vibrators, Tianrui shale shakers produce periodic excitation force, driving the screen box and screen mesh to reciprocate at high frequency with specific trajectories (linear, elliptical, circular elliptical). Drilling fluid evenly distributed on the screen forms a thin layer and moves in parabolic motion. Liquid and fine particles smaller than screen openings pass through to downstream solid control equipment (desander, desilter), while oversized cuttings are discharged continuously along the inclined screen, completing solid-liquid separation. Separated solids are discharged, and liquid enters the underflow collection system for further treatment or recycling.
Screen Box: Supports screen mesh and vibration mechanism, high-strength welded/bolted, fatigue-resistant and corrosion-proof.
Shaker Screen: Key filtering component, available in framed, wedge wire, polyurethane materials, 40–200 mesh. Framed screens improve flow area and service life.
Vibration System: Single/dual motors, excitation force and trajectory adjustable via eccentric blocks, explosion-proof for drilling sites.
Damping System: Composite rubber springs/dampers, reduce vibration transmission, noise and resonance.
Feed Buffer & Adjustment: Adjustable screen box angle controls mud retention time; buffer structure protects screen from impact wear.
