Recently, TR Solids Control’s custom solids control equipment package for overseas drilling rig has been shipped to Europe, for integration with 2000HP drilling rig. The batch of equipment includes: 3 shale shakers, 2 desander-desilter combinations, 2 vacuum degassers, as well as multiple agitators and centrifugal sand pumps, forming complete solids control system for overseas drilling operations.

As the front-end processing equipment of solids control system, drilling fluid shale shakers are responsible for initial separation of solid-phase particles. The 3 units of TRZS584 shale shakers shipped this time are products optimized and designed by TR Solids Control based on the drilling condition requirements of European customers, with improved adaptability in both processing capacity and screening accuracy.
The equipment can adapt to drilling fluids of varying viscosities, achieves high-efficiency vibration through rational structural design, and rapidly separates solid impurities such as drill cuttings. Its adjustable operating parameters enable it to match diverse working conditions, reducing subsequent equipment wear while providing basic protection for the drilling fluid circulation system and helping improve overall drilling efficiency.
The drilling fluid enters the mud cleaner for deep purification. The TRQJ200-2S8N mud cleaner used in this system adopts an integrated "shale shaker + desander + desilter" design, which reduces the space occupied by the equipment while improving the processing efficiency. It is a key purification link in the solids control system.
As the end-stage fine processing equipment of the solids control system, the TRLW450N drilling fluid centrifuge is tasked with removing micro solid particles and recovering valuable components. Adopting horizontal decanter sedimentation structure, the equipment achieves high-efficiency solid-liquid separation based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation, perfectly meeting European customers’ requirements for refined drilling fluid treatment.
During drilling operations, the mud cleaner achieves precise purification through multi-stage processing: first, the desanding module separates coarse solid particles; then, the desilting module targets and removes fine impurities; and the bottom-mounted underflow screen dewaters the separated solids, forming a complete purification chain.
After this process, the content of harmful solid phases in the drilling fluid is significantly reduced and its quality is enhanced, laying solid foundation for subsequent fine processing and ensuring the efficient operation of the entire solids control system.
During drilling operations, the invasion of formation gas tends to cause fluctuations in drilling fluid performance, and the vacuum degasser is the key equipment to solve this problem. The TRZCQ360 vacuum degassers are specially designed to treat gas-invaded drilling fluid, restoring mud density and stability.
