The mud-proof system is also called the drilling waste disposal system, the drill cuttings-proof system, etc.

Drilling waste includes cuttings, mud, shavings, soaking fluid, cement slurry, and other materials generated during drilling operations. Mud retention is an environmentally friendly technology for treating these drilling wastes. Its primary purpose is to solidify and treat the drilling waste, facilitating its rapid transportation to a designated location after construction. The liquid portion of the waste can be recycled and reused. Mud retention systems can be categorized as either water-based or oil-based systems, depending on the media they treat.

The non-floating water-based mud system consists of four components: a conveying system, a drying system, a gel crushing system, and a filter press system. 1. The conveying system includes a sealed screw conveyor to collect drill cuttings from the shale shaker. 2. The drying system includes a drying screen, a recovery tank, and a belt conveyor. 3. The gel crushing system includes two storage tanks, a centrifugal pump, and a gel crushing tank. 4. The filter press system includes a plunger pump, a chamber filter press, and a belt conveyor.

The oil-based mud non-ground system consists of a screw conveyor, a vertical drill cuttings dryer, a horizontal screw centrifuge, a screw pump and other equipment. The oil-based drill cuttings separated from the petroleum mud solids control system are transported to the vertical drill cuttings dryer through a screw conveyor for processing, and the dried drill cuttings fall into the drill cuttings box for external transportation; the drilling fluid containing a small amount of solid phase is transported to the horizontal screw centrifuge for further processing through an industrial pump or a screw pump. The mud after processing in the horizontal screw centrifuge is re-injected into the mud circulation system.

The mud non-ground system is widely used in oil and gas exploration drilling, coalbed methane drilling, shale drilling projects, trenchless projects, shield tunneling, pipe jacking projects, river dredging projects, subway tunnel construction, building piling, oilfield drilling waste treatment, drilling fluid for waste sludge, oil-based mud, water-based mud treatment and environmental protection treatment of fracturing reverse osmosis fluid.
