TR Solid Control's oil-based drilling cuttings treatment system has been successfully shipped to oilfield in Malaysia.  Due to the high-temperature requirements of the drilling project in Malaysian oilfield, TR Solid Control's drilling waste system includes drying shaker, mud cleaning integrated machine, cuttings dryer, centrifuge, screw pump,slurry supply pump, screw conveyor, and mud tanks. The drilling waste treatment system efficiently separates, filters, and processes drilling waste and cuttings, protecting the environment and improving operational efficiency.

Treatment process of TR Solid Control's oil-based drilling fluid non-landing system

Returned oil-based drilling fluid and waste mud first pass through shale shaker to remove particles >5mm, then are sealed-conveyed via screw conveyor to cuttings dryer. Centrifugal force from high-speed rotation enables initial solid-liquid separation, reducing cuttings' liquid content to 30%. The separated liquid and oil-bearing cuttings are pumped to horizontal decanter centrifuge via screw pump for fine particle removal, achieving oil recovery ≥95% and treating solids content to ≤4%. Finally, recovered clean drilling fluid is recycled to the system, while eco-compliant solid cuttings are resource-reused through brick-making, road paving or microbial degradation. With modular equipment synergy and intelligent control, the process eliminates mud pit leakage risks, fulfilling the green drilling goals of "zero emission, no pollution, and resource recycling."

In the oil-based drilling fluid waste treatment system, the TRLW450N high-speed variable frequency centrifuge demonstrates excellent separation performance for high-viscosity oil sludge, achieving separation capability of 3 μm.  The separated mud has specific gravity controlled at 1.2 g/cm³, allowing it to be directly reused in the drilling solids control system, thus saving waste treatment costs and enabling effective resource utilization.
