Drill cuttings dryer (also called mud dryer) is a type of centrifuge, designed to separate solids from suspensions by centrifugal filtration.

Its drum features many holes and is lined with filter media on the inner surface. When fed into the drum, the suspension rotates synchronously, generating immense centrifugal pressure. This pressure forces the liquid phase through the filter media and drum holes, while solids are retained on the media surface—achieving efficient solid-liquid separation.

With centrifugal force hundreds to thousands of times stronger than gravity, the dryer intensifies filtration, accelerates processing speed, and produces low-moisture filter cake. It is ideal for suspensions with solid particles ≥0.03mm, and widely applied in oil-based mud (OBM) zero-discharge systems.

4.Individual oil lubrication system

Individual oil lubrication system with automatic alarm for pressure limit. The main motor and oil pump motor is interlocked with each other for avoiding the start of the main motor prior to the start of the oil pump motor.

5. VFD cuttings dryer control panel

VFD cuttings dryer control panel is made by stainless steel with Pressurized explosion proof. The PLC smart control allows you to adjust the speed and protect the machine more friendly. The air circulation through the cooling tubes allow you to use the VFD cuttings dryer in high temperature environment. The VFD is ABB or SIEMENS Brand, other main electric components are Schneider or SIENMENS Brand.

6.The drum of the spin dryer is made of alloy materials, which can effectively resist wear and corrosion.
