Mud Recycling System is an important part of directional drilling (HDD) and pipe jacking construction. It is mainly used for mud recycling, purification and preparation.

HDD mud recycling system is suitable for construction projects with high mud capacity. Its purification process consists of three stages: The first stge of mud shale shaker, , the second and third stages are desander and desilter for fine purification. Both desander and desilter are equipped with underflow shale shaker to further treat solids discharged from the upper equipment. After purification, the required mud additives are added to the purified slurry via the mud mixing device. After uniform stirring, qualified drilling mud is prepared, which significantly reduces mud consumption and construction costs, and achieves environmental protection requirements.

Function of HDD Mud Recycling System

HDD Mud Recycling System is to remove solid particles from the returned well mud, as well as complete mud preparation and storage. It maintains the low solid phase content of the mud and ensures its performance meets the drilling process requirements, then delivers qualified slurry to the mud pump for well injection.
