Derriok Side Support/Cross Support

Derriok Side Support (P/N: 6417-01) and Cross Support are critical structural components for Derriok shale shakers, providing essential support and stability to screen panels during high-vibration operations in oilfield environments.

Design & Function

1. Positioning: Mounted along the lateral edges of the screen frame

2. Primary Function: Provides lateral stability to screen panels, preventing side-to-side movement during vibration

3. Secondary Role: Acts as a cushion between screen panels and shaker frame, reducing wear and noise

4. Installation: Typically installed in pairs (left and right) on each screen panel

Side Support Installation

1. Clean the mounting surface on the shaker frame

2. Align the side support with the pre-drilled holes on the screen frame edge

3. Secure with provided hardware (bolts/nuts)

4. Ensure the support sits flush against the frame

Cross Support Installation

1. Position the cross support across the screen frame at the specified location

2. Align with mounting holes (either in the frame or on dedicated brackets)

3. Secure firmly to prevent movement during operation

4. Verify proper tensioning
